Sea Temperatures in Croatia at All-Time High

This weekend sea temperatures were the hottest on record for Croatia.

Lucifer heatwave broke another temperature record. This time – at sea.

The water temperature off the coast of Mljet island and in Small Lake (Malo Jezero) on Mljet has hit a record-high, reports Slobodna Dalmacija.

According to the Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ) data, the water in Small Lake on Mljet island was measured at 30 degrees Celsius, while the open sea near Mljet came in at 28.4 degrees, breaking the previous record-high temperature which was measured in Split when the sea was at 28 °C.

Throughout the rest of the Croatian coast, the sea was also very warm with temperatures reaching above-average numbers.
