Croatia is very well known as an exceptional nautical destination, and now that the tourist season is slowing down and foreign sailors have returned home, local lovers of sailing both professional and amateur are testing their skills in various regattas. One of the oldest and certainly most demanding ones is the Vis Regatta taking place until Sunday October 17, 2015.
First part of the 71st Vis regatta Spli Vis was finished yesterday with Marina Kaštela taking first place in front of Black Mystery and Eline. Saturday is reserved for smaller sail boats in the race around the Vis harbour while the final part of the regatta is scheduled tomorrow when all participants will head back towards Split in their final showdown.
