Croatian Basketball League; Cedevita And Zadar Win in Local Derbies

Total Croatia News

Round four of Croatian A1 Basketball Champions League rounded up with Cedevita winning in city derby over Cibona.

The A1 league has come to round four of the competition; on April 13, 2016, we bring you the round-up of the matches played.

Cedevita is confirming the status of the league favourites, starting the competition with a four-win streak. They won against Cibona today, and even though Cibona had its chances, the home team got the win in the end.

Zadar traveled to Split, a club which returned to the champions league after two years of absence. Zadar was the better team, but it was great to see young players on both sides proving to be the most valuable players of the teams. These two teams have traditionally been the starting point for most of the best basketball players in Croatia, so one can only hope that there will be more games like this.
