Damir Martin In The Finals Of The Olympic Single Scull

Croatian rower finished second in his semi-final group

Just as we predicted, Damir Martin qualified for the final race of the Olympic single scull on August 12. 2016. He finished second in his group, but it was clear that he was saving some strength for tomorrow’s final race.

He said that he pushed hard only in the last 500 meters, as he was not to lose the spot in finals because of the time. He was happy that it was raining, so it was easier to breathe as it was not so hot as it tends to be.

The final race of the Olympic single sculls is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
