Croatian basketball player Dario Šarić could not have imagined a better debutant season in the NBA League. For the second month in a row he has been named rookie of the month of the Eastern Conference, only several days ahead of his 23rd birthday
In March the Croatian player led all rookies in average points per game (18.4), total game points (115) and free throws (54). He is also second in rebounds per game (7.0), third in three pointers total (28) and fourth in assists (3.4), Jutarnji List reported on April 4, 2017.
Šarić scored 20 points or more in 7 out of 17 games and made two double-doubles. At the game played on March 24th, when Philadelphia defeated the Chicago Bulls 117-107, Šarić made 32 points, career high and made 10 rebounds.
Sacramento Kings player Buddy Hield was named March rookie of the month in the Western Conference, with an average of 14.1 points per game.
