Today, Sunday 17th September 2017, after swimming across the English channel, Dina Levačić became the first Croatian to complete the Triple Crown Open Water Swimming Project.
The Triple Crown Open Water Swimming Project consists of three mammoth marathon swims – the English Channel, Catalina Channel, and the Manhattan Island Marathon. To be inducted into the Triple Crown Open Swimming Hall of Fame, swimmers have to complete all three authenticated swims (in no given timeframe).
According to the Triple Crown Open Swimming Association, 161 athletes have completed the challenge. Of these 161 athletes, there are only five other persons who have completed the challenge in 90 days; at 8:11 pm Dina became the sixth person in the world to complete the challenge in less than 3-months and the first Croatian female to swim the English Channel!

The French coast is in the palm, but so is Dina and we know that now is the toughest part of the road, the battle with the currents. So close, yet so far but not unreachable. Dina wants it, Dina can do it, Dina will do it. Dina will give it all to get to the French Coast!

7:50 pm “700-metres more…”
On Sunday 25th June 2017, Dina completed the swim around Manhattan (45.8 km) in a time of 7:33:50, on Thursday 3rd August 2017, Dina swam the Catalina Channel (33 km) in 9:47:53 and just now, September 17th, 2017 at 8:11 pm (EST +1), Dina completed the last and most notorious passage – the English Channel (33.7 km).
