EHF Euro 2026: Croatia Moves to Second round, Here’s WHo they Face NExt

Croatia heads into the main round of the EHF Euro 2026 without any points carried over, following a group-stage defeat to Sweden.

In the next phase, the team will face Iceland, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Hungary, while Sweden, Slovenia, and Iceland begin with points earned from the opening round.

Head coach Dagur Sigurdsson’s squad will open their main-round campaign against Iceland on Friday, January 23, at 15:00. The European Handball Federation and tournament organizers confirmed the full schedule late last night.

Croatia’s Schedule – Main Round Group II (Malmö)

January 23 (Friday): Croatia vs. Iceland – 15:00
January 25 (Sunday): Switzerland vs. Croatia – 20:30
January 27 (Tuesday): Slovenia vs. Croatia – 18:00
January 28 (Wednesday): Croatia vs. Hungary –18:00

Croatia now faces a crucial stretch of games as they aim to recover from a tough loss to Sweden and keep their hopes alive for a place in the semifinals.
