At a tough away game at Udinese they were down a goal, until Ivan Perišić stepped up his game. The Croatian national team member and forward scored a great goal in the 45th minute after a pass from Icardi, his fifth of the season in Serie A, after the home team took the lead after a goal from Jankt in the 17th minute.
It seemed the duel would end without a winner, and then in the 87th minute Perišić scored again, his sixth goal of the season, assisted by Joao Mario.
Marcelo Brozović also played the entire game for Inter which reached its new triumph fuelled by Croats and closed in on the leading teams of Serie A. It seems the Champions League is within reach…
