Zdravko Mamić returned to the premises of Dinamo Zagreb where he held another one of his classic press conferences.
Zdravko Mamić summoned yet another press conference, where he appeared with even more documents, contracts and, in his words, evidence that he worked for the benefit of Dinamo and Croatian football, reports Gol.hr on March 3, 2018.
At the very beginning, he accused Dinko Cvitan of the State Attorney’s Office that he wanted to destroy him and Dinamo, and at the very end, called the legend of Croatian basketball Dino Rađa a cretin who did not know how to find his way from Split’s Riva to Gripe.
“You are crazy to persecute Zdravko Mamić and an icon of Croatian football, Luka Modrić. I am the only person who communicates with you myself, and I do not speak through a spokesperson. I come to you with concrete answers, paperwork and I do not hide behind anyone,” he said at the opening of his monologue.
Not so long ago, Mamić was said to have not damaged Dinamo which he calls his great victory.
“My great victory and satisfaction is that the Executive Committee concluded that Zdravko Mamić did not harm Dinamo but has worked for their good fortune.”
The judicial proceedings against him in Osijek were also an issue, appealing to Dinko Cvitan’s State Attorney’s Office.
“As you know, a court case is being conducted against me in Osijek, but I want to point out that the head of the State Attorney’s Office Dinko Cvitan has a vital task of destroying Zdravko Mamić and his family. Croatia will fall, but it will come to their head!”
Mamić then also commented on the indictment against Luka Modrić, who has been charged with false testimony.
“Luka Modrić did not change his statement. He just said that he thought they were talking about one contract and not another! Imagine the people who are accusing the hero we are expecting to accomplish a historic result at the World Cup. They are charging him with an indictment at this time,” Mamić said, continuing with Cvitan.
“The State Attorney’s Office, led by Cvitan, is the biggest offense in the history of Croatia. They are the first to violate the laws! They have made the state represent unlawful prosecutors. My lawyer and I went to battle against it, and in the interest of you and your children. We’ll prove that this is the biggest lawlessness! But you won’t prevail, Cvitan!”
At the end of the press conference, Mamić commented on the investigation of the Sports Inspection, which found that Davor Šuker was illegally elected president of HNS.
“Lies! The inspection has problematized the timing and some procedural mistakes, but the choice of Šuker is legal. You will see! Although I did not see the documentation, this is all a deception and a lie! The goal is to demolish Mamić, Dinamo, and HNS, the only ones who march and go forward! Do not let God do what I want to do to Dino Rađa. The man is a jerk that does not know his way from the Riva to the hall at Gripe. What has he done for such a big club? What did he do as a big Hajduk fan? And you’re promoting that,” Mamić concluded.
