Croatian national team striker Mario Mandžukić has put his signature on a new contract with Italian football club Juventus.
After winning Serie A and the Coppa Italia, and just before the Champions League final against Real Madrid, Juventus has announced that they have decided to extend their contract with Croatian striker Mario Mandžukić. The Croat will now continue his journey with Juventus through June 30, 2020, reports HNS on May 25, 2017.
Mandžukić arrived in Turin in July 2015, and with his dynamic and sacrificial performances, he quickly gained special status among many fans of Juventus.
Mandžukić is only behind Dybala and Higuain in the number of goals scored and stands in fourth on the squad for chances created. Mario ranks third for his number of shots on target, and in the last two seasons, he has won the most tackles out of anyone on the team (74).
