The Croatian Football Federation’s Executive Committee held its regular session in Zagreb, where, among other decisions, it confirmed the host cities for two of Croatia’s upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures this year.
Croatia will face England on October 3 in Rijeka (18:00), though the match will be played behind closed doors due to a UEFA disciplinary sanction. Just three days later, on October 6, the Vatreni will welcome Spain to Poljud Stadium in Split (20:45), announces HNS.
Croatia will open its Nations League campaign away to the Czech Republic on September 26, followed by an away match in Spain on September 29. After the two home games in Rijeka and Split, the team will travel to England on November 12, before wrapping up the group stage at home against the Czech Republic on November 15.
The Executive Committee also approved the final financial report for 2025, as well as the Federation’s annual activity report. In addition, it adopted the Football Competition Regulations, the 2026 activity calendar, and a decision on filling the First NL for the 2026/27 season. The Committee also appointed the chairs and members of HNS’s permanent commissions, as well as arbitrators for the HNS Arbitration Court.
