Schedule Of Croatian Participation At The Olympics For Friday

TCN brings you the itinerary of Croatian athletes’ participation at the Olympics (all times are in Central European Time Zone)

Here is the schedule for Croatian athletes on August 12, 2016, at the Olympics:

14.00 Shooting

Petar Gorša will start the qualifications in 50 meters rifle shooting, and if he manages to get to the final round, it is scheduled for 16.00 CET.

14.40 Rowing

One more contender for the medal will start his semi-final race today. Damir Martin had the best time in the qualification race of single skulls discipline, and as the Sinković brothers broke the ice yesterday, we hope that Damir will continue the Croatian streak.

15.00 Weightlifting

Amar Musić will appear in the -85 kg category of the Olympic weightlifting competition.

15.20 Water Polo

Croatian water polo team will play against Italy, and after the shocking loss to Spain will try to get back on the track. It is the derby of the Adriatic, the teams know each other very well, so all outcomes are possible in this match. Good luck, Barracudas!

18.05 Sailing

The Croatian sailors are doing a brilliant job in Rio so far. Tonči Stipanović is the leader in Laser class, and today he has two more races. Fantela and Marenić are heading their 470 class and will try to stay there in today’s two races. Pavle Cupač and Petar Kostov are starting their Olympic competition in the 49er class with the first three races today.

20.30 Diving

Marcela Marić starts the qualifications in Olympic diving competition in the 3 meters springboard discipline.
