Ex-Croatian captain will be the special adviser to the President of FIFA.

According to Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish sport magazine and La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Italian sport newspaper, Zvonimir Boban, the ex-Croatian captain, and one of the best Croatian football players of all time should be named as special advisor to the President of FIFA, Mr. Gianni Infantino. The news was published on April 30. 2016, and Boban’s position should be related to the questions of football development.

Since his retirement from playing, he has been working as a journalist on Italian TV, and was associated with the sport media in Croatia, so this would be his first job connected directly with the football organizations. He has turned down many invitations from the public to join the Croatian Football Federation in the past, and in the last few years, he has openly criticized the leadership of the CFF.

If this news is to be confirmed, it will be interesting to see his cooperation with his former teammate, Davor Šuker, which was so great on the pitch, but since their retirement, their paths have gone in separated ways.
