March the 9th, 2025 – The wildly popular shopping app Temu has announced a strategic partnership with Croatian Post (Hrvatska pošta) to improve delivery services.
As Borivoje Dokler/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Temu, an incredibly popular Chinese online platform for selling products directly from manufacturers, has announced a strategic partnership with Croatian Post. That partnership will see an improvement in the delivery services of Temu products and improve the order fulfilment process for customers across Croatia.
The two companies also added that the new Temu partnership with Croatian Post will aim to provide consumers with quicker, more reliable and efficient delivery options. Croatian Post has the largest network of parcel pickup and delivery locations in the country, including more than 1,000 post offices and 300 parcel machines. Mario Horak, head of sales at Croatian Post, said that the postal company is excited about this important collaboration with Temu, one of the world’s most popular e-commerce brands by far.
“Together, we want to provide convenient and reliable delivery services to consumers across Croatia, using the extensive network of Croatian Post’s pickup and delivery locations,” revealed Horak. China’s gigantic platform Temu has also expanded its operations to more than 90 markets around the world since its launch back in September 2022. Unsurprisingly, it is currently one of the most visited e-commerce websites in the world owing to its very affordable product prices that have become so unimaginable for most people amid inflationary woes, particularly here in Croatia.
Since its launch in Croatia back in August 2024, Temu has offered a range of products spanning more than 600 categories. “By partnering with Croatian Post, Temu is further strengthening its commitment to providing a superior customer experience through reliable and efficient delivery services,” a statement from Temu said. According to analysts’ forecasts, Temu’s total sales for 2024 will exceed an astonishing 50 billion USD.
A US Congressional report from June 2023 stated that together, shopping platforms Temu and Shein ship 600,000 packages per day in the USA alone. Although the exact number of packages that Temu ships independently hasn’t been specified, it can be assumed that it is well into the hundreds of thousands of packages every single day.
Colin Huang, the founder of Temu and Pinduodu, has been named the richest person in China, with a fortune of 49 billion USD acquired in less than a single decade.
