The famous Tikveš winery from Macedonia organised a gala dinner and presentation of its best wines on the seventeenth floor of the Westin Hotel in Zagreb. The winery’s premium selection is available in the Croatian market as well.

Tikveš is not just one of the most important wineries of Macedonia and the region, but it is also one of the oldest and largest wineries in Southeast Europe. Its history started in 1885 in the Macedonian wine region, which is known as one of the best wine-making areas in Southeast Europe, where the tradition of wine production is more than 2,500 years old. Fourteen years ago, Tikveš got new owners, who introduced a new approach to winemaking and invested as much as 40 million euros. The winery is now particularly focused on combining local varieties of grapes with the international ones, so the end result is a unique blend of local wine tradition combined with world experience. Since 2010, their wine consultant has been one of the best oenologists in the world, Philip Cambie. The winery produces over 50 different types of wine, each of which is individually classified and intended for a different segment of consumers.
