Tomac Amfora Sparkling in Decanter’s Top 75 Wines of 2016

More recognition for Croatian wine on December 12, 2016, as Decanter puts Tomic Sparkling Amfora in its top 75 wines of 2016.

The noise is getting louder.

With more than 130 indigenous varieties and a fascinating wine story dating thousands of years, Croatian wine is attracting increasing international attention. And recognition. 

The latest accolade is for the Tomac winery from Plesivica, which has just been named in the top 75 most exciting wines of the year by prestigious wine publication Decanter for the Tomac Amfora Sparkling, as the wienry announced on Instagram:

“First time in Tomac wine history, first time in Croatian wine history, magazine Decanter choose “one croatian wine” in the 75 best wines of 2016.”
