After a record July and August for traffic in all Croatian airports this year, statistics indicate that this Tuesday, September 20th, Pula Airport will cross 400,000 travelers for the 2016 season.
Such large numbers have not been recorded at the Pula Airport since before Croatia gained its independence, respectively in 1990, when the number of passengers at the airport reached an impressive 672,241. Back in 2008, Pula Airport came close to 400k with 397,363 passengers.
This year has seen may records break throughout Croatian airports and in July of this year, many of the Croatian international airports had already seen nearly a million and a half passengers, with the first seven months of the year totaling to about 4.4 million passengers, announced the Croatian Chamber of Economy just a few days ago.
Pula Airport mentioned that they are honored and will continue to pride themselves for the consistent seriousness, security, and exceptional airport services they offer. The airport will, of course, celebrate the magical “400k” with an award especially for the 400 thousandth passenger.
