Billionaire Alijan Ibragimov’s €170million superyacht I Dynasty, spotted in Dubrovnik harbour Friday 28th July, 2017.
Alijan Ibragimov is a billionaire, coming in at #382 in Forbes’ World list of billionaires and a member of the Oligarch group dubbed “the Trio”.
Just when I thought having Steve Jobs’ €100 million yacht Venus in the Adriatic was a touch of luxury, another yacht moves in to take trumps. I Dynasty was launched in 2015 and dubbed the most complex yacht in history by Boat International.
Why?
I Dynasty was the first superyacht built under the new Passenger Yacht Code Regulations (PYC) which allows her to carry up to 36 passengers. Built by Kusch Yachts and designed by Richard Hein from the A Group, I Dynasty really is a thing of beauty to behold on the water. But I Dynasty is not all about aesthetics, as they built to new regulations, they were pioneering new territory in terms of design, build and materials – using creativity to appease regulations while not compromising style and elegance.
Features on I Dynasty include a cinema, gym, multiple lounge and bar areas, massage room, sauna, hammam, salon with eleven cabins – including, of course, the owner’s Master room and two extra VIP cabins. I Dynasty can hold 22 passengers and has 30 accompanying staff. Apparently, the owner asked for ‘a cosy family yacht with WOW” (Boat International).
My definition of “wow” just changed drastically. Every time I think I understand the world of wealth and luxury, the bar moves and I realise I have no clue.
If, like myself, the chance of you ever being on a yacht worth €170million are slim-to-none, then watch this video with me and let’s imagine ourselves living this life for just a day…
