October 29, 2023 – The latest addition to the TCN video portfolio. As the TCN CEO travels around the county, a new street vlog concept – Paul Bradbury on Location. This week, delightful Daruvar.
Like it or hate it, we are moving increasingly into the video age. Rather than put our heads in the sand, we have decided to embrace the new reality, with a range of video products on both YouTube and TikTok, and soon Instagram reels.
Getting used to filming and editing is not natural for me, but I have learned a lot from Igor Vuk, the man behind the camera for the well-produced videos on the Paul Bradbury Croatia Expert YouTube channel, as well as my TikTok channel.
While we will continue to have Igor’s excellent videos as the core product, I have decided to start filming my regular travels around this lovely land and produce a much more amateur street vlog series documenting those travels in a new playlist on the YouTube channel, called Paul Bradbury on Location.
Last week, we started the series on the island of Brac at the excellent World Championships in Olive Picking – you can see that first video above. And next month I will be in Istria for almost the whole month, so expect some video content from there.
This week, one of the big surprises of the year – tree-infested Daruvar, home to the best burek in Croatia, the European Tree of the Year in 2019, a very innovative gourmet concept washed down with excellent local beers and wines, a town which is 20% Czech, and a superb wellness offer, including hot water for tea direct from the ground, and midnight outdoor swimming in thermal pools in late October.
