It is beginning to fall into place.

After 15 years fighting Croatian bureaucracy, Europe’s first scheduled commercial seaplane service for 80 years is beginning to build an impressive network ahead of what promises to be a very busy 2016 season.

As TCN recently reported, European Coastal Airlines recently connected downtown Split to Dubrovnik Airport, as well as opening its second international route to Italy, with the addition of downtown Split to Pescara Airport a few days ago.

Two more important destinations are now available for the summer season, and available for booking from May to the end of October. Korcula Town will now be accessible from Split in just 22 minutes, while great news for the party crowd coming to Croatia this summer, as top party destination Zrce will be serviced with a connection to Novalja.

In total there will be an impressive scheduled 96 routes on offer, with more certain to be added, and combinations between those routes theoretically come to 1,046, making the fleixibility of ease of travel and island hopping more convenient than ever.

Booking for all destinations is now available from May to the end of October. For more information, visit the ECA website
