Total Croatia News

April 5, 2018 – The latest news from the skies of Croatia.

Another week, another raft of new flight announcements for what is sure to be the busiest year ever in the skies of Croatia. Air Malta will be connecting the tiny Mediterranean island with weekly charter flights to both Dubrovnik and Zagreb in peak season. The Dubrovnik connection will run from July 28 to September 22, while Zagreb will connect with Malta from July 21 to August 12. More details on Avioradar.

After more than 10 years of operating in Zadar, the livery of Ryanair will finally be seen at Split Airport. Whether or not this is the start of something bigger remains to be seen, but the Irish low-cost carrier will be initially running two charter routes from Poland into the Dalmatian capital, from Warsaw and Gdansk, with weekly flights from both destinations running from June 7 to September 27.

There are more options further up the coast for German tourists this summer, as Laudamotion, in association with Thomas Cook and Ryanair, will connect both Pula and Rijeka with Berlin (TXL), with flights running from the beginning of June to the end of October.

A big week for Dubrovnik starts next Tuesday with direct flights from Dubai to the Pearl of the Adriatic with FlyDubai. The seasonal flights will run until the end of October, with round-trip tickets from 350 euro, reports Poslovni.hr.
