Exclusive: First Pictures from Inside New Dubrovnik Airport Terminal

Take a peek inside ongoing works in Dubrovnik’s new airport terminal, with a progress update.

As previously reported on Total Croatia News, Dubrovnik Airport is undergoing major expansion.  Taking advantage of a seat on the maiden seaplane flight from downtown Split to Dubrovnik Airport on February 1, 2016, TCN visited the new terminal building to take an exclusive peek inside the new terminal – previous pictures have shown the outside only.

The airport expansion is valued at 220 million euro, and its 36,500 m2 will be able to handle some 3.5 million, compared to the current annual traffic of under 2 million. 

The completion date is set for 2019, although the airport director told TCN that completion could yet happen in 2018.
