First Flight from Zagreb’s New Terminal Heads To Dubrovnik

Zagreb Airport’s shiny new terminal launches its maiden ”take off” on the 28th of March – heading south.

Zagreb’s Franjo Tudjman International Airport has been in the media frequently of late owing to the official opening of its new passenger terminal just a few days ago on the 21st of March 2017, to an audience of 500 which included Croatia’s Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic and Zagreb’s mayor, Milan Bandic, to name just two.

The new terminal, which is the largest infrastructure project to be undertaken in Croatia in the last ten years, has been referred to as the ”new doors of Croatia to the world”. The brand new terminal saw its very first flight leave at 05:50am on the 28th of March, making the approximately 55 minute journey south to Dubrovnik.
