February 23, 2019 – The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for new flights to Croatia with updates from Dubrovnik, Pula, Zadar, Split, and Zagreb.

British low-cost airline EasyJet announced yet another line to Croatia this summer, namely, between Berlin’s Tegel Airport and Zadar. Recall, EasyJet already offers service between the Berlin Schonefeld Airport and Zadar, reports AvioRadar on February 23, 2019.

The Zadar-Tegel line will commence traffic from April 2, 2019, with two flights per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The new line will operate until the end of the summer season, or October 26, 2019. The route between Berlin Schonefeld Airport and Zadar will work only in the heart of the season, from June 26 to August 31, 2019, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

EasyJet will fly the Airbus A319 or A320 on the new line this year. With the new Zadar-Tegel route, EasyJet will operate to a total of five airports from Zadar.

In other news, Polish national carrier LOT, a Star Alliance member, has announced larger aircraft on all lines flying to Croatia this summer. Thus, the Bombardier Q400 will no longer be used for Croatian routes, reports AvioRadar

The Dubrovnik-Warsaw line will operate six times a week, every day but Tuesdays, mostly running on the Embraer ERJ-195, while the new Boeing 737MAX8 will fly in the heart of the season, from June to the end of September. On the line between Pula and Warsaw, which operates once a week on Sundays, LOT will use the ERJ-195 aircraft.

The Boeing 737MAX8 will also fly on the Split-Warsaw line on Sundays, while the Embraer ERJ-195 will be used on Wednesdays. The Zadar-Warsaw line, which operates once a week on Saturdays, will also introduce the new Boeing 737MAX8 for the heart of the season, from June to the end of September.

The Zagreb-Warsaw will use the Embraer ERJ-195 on both daily flights, which fly 14 times a week.
