Thinking of a trip to Germany or Switzerland?
FlixBus, the European leader in passenger transport, has expanded their network of international bus lines from Croatia for the start of the new season. Zagreb will thus be directly connected to new destinations in Switzerland and Germany, reports HRTurizam on March 20, 2018.
Thanks to the constant investment in the development of the FlixBus Green Network, from March 22nd, passengers will be able to travel every day on the Zagreb – Ljubljana – St. Gallen – Zürich – Basel – Freiburg route, FlixBus announced today.
“By listening to the wishes of passengers and monitoring the passenger traffic in Croatia, we have noticed that in this relationship, there has been a great demand for a simple and accessible connection for a long time. With this nightline, we expanded our offer and provided travelers with new destinations in Switzerland and Germany for their upcoming spring travel. Offering an alternative to air and rail transport with shorter travel time and affordable prices, the goal is to connect Croatian cities with as many destinations in Europe as possible, and to make FlixBus’ quality and standards available to everyone,” said Petra Milanović, the Public Relations Manager for FlixBus CEE South Region.
In just four years, FlixBus has managed to create a network of bus lines in 26 European countries that connect 1400 destinations with over 250,000 daily connections. A business model that combines the traditional bus industry and high technology gives passengers more affordable, convenient and comfortable travel in state-of-the-art green buses.
“Our Croatian bus partners have recognized this successful business model accepted by travelers throughout Croatia. Currently, more than 100 destinations are connected to the FlixBus network in Croatia with direct connections from 10 European countries, and further development and better frequencies are planned,” Milanović concluded.
FlixBus buses offer free Wi-Fi, power sockets next to the seats, more space between seats, free luggage and the ability to change and cancel reservations up to 15 minutes before departure. There is also online ticket purchasing without queues at check-in, and passenger identification via QR code and smartphone.
