A new airline for the Croatian market for 2016, as Osijek’s Sea Air continues its eastern exapansion.
The 2016 flight announcments keep on coming, and the latest is a new player on the Croatian tourism scene, Niki or flyNiki from Vienna, which will be introducing direct flights from the Austrian capital to both Dubrovnik and Split next summer, according to Aerocroatia on September 11, 2015, which has published the timetable below.
Named after former Grand Prix racing driver Niki Lauda, who acquired the former Aero Lloyd Austria operation in 2003, Niki has a partnership with Air Berlin.
Meanwhile in Osijek, after a delayed start after which doubts were cast on whether operations would ever start, Osijek-based Sea Air is expanding its international operations. Flights to Tbilisi and Kuwait from Sarajevo are due to start next week, with additional flights from Tirana to Dortmund, Frankfurt and Munich next month.
