As Dubrovački Dnevnikčki Dnevnik reports on the 15th of August, 2017, the beaches of Dubrovnik-Neretva County were tested in accordance with the guidelines set by the Program for the Determination of Sea Quality. The Public Health Institute of Dubrovnik-Neretva County carried out the sixth regular sea survey on 116 beaches between the 31st of July to the 13th of August, 2017. Samples from the sea on all the beaches were taken in accordance with the necessary requirements.
Out of a total of 116 beaches, the sea at 113 beaches was rated as ”excellent quality”, while the sea at the Mlini beaches in Župa Dubrovačka (Parish of Dubrovnik), Kobaš in the Ston area and Portina in Ploče was of good quality.
