Interest in Croatia Growing Among Senior Tourists from Sweden

ZAGREB, October 8, 2018 – The interest in Croatia as a tourist destination is growing among Swedish senior citizens and that population group is an opportunity for Croatia to better position its tourism on the Swedish market, these are the reaction from the Senior Fair in Stockholm (Seniormassan) at which Croatia presented its tourism services.

Senior Fair is the largest trade show for those who want to live an active life and discover something new again.

Visitors can meet the largest number of exhibitors with quality products and great deals primarily intended for those who are 55 years and older.

So far this year, some 300,000 Swedes have visited Croatia and made 1.7 million overnight stays, which i a mild increase in comparison to last year.
