Where will you be heading this summer? Wherever it is, let Jadrolinija take you!
Starting from June the 2nd, 2017, Jadrolinija ferries will be sailing according to their summer schedule, which includes larger capacity ships operating along the most frequent ferry routes and the introduction of additional ferry lines in local maritime traffic, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on June the 2nd, 2017.
Aside from the existing ferry lines, there will be a new catamaran line connecting Pula, Unije, Susak, Mali Losinj, Ilovic, Silba and Zadar beginning on the 3rd of June, with an additional seasonal catamaran connecting Dubrovnik, Korcula, Hvar,Bol and Split starting on June the 9th.
There is also a new ferry line in international maritime traffic which will connect Bari in Italy to Bar in Montenegro, which began sailing in May this year. The Bari to Bar line is operated by the Jadrolinija ”Dubrovnik” ferry which also operates between Dubrovnik and Bari until December.
In 2016, Jadrolinija achieved a record turnover and transported a total of 11.3 million passengers and 2.6 million vehicles. The fleet of 50 vessels is ready for the upcoming season, which naturally requires the maximum engagement of ships and crews, especially when taking into account the fact that almost half of the annual traffic is generated during the summer season.
The start of the summer schedule also means ticket prices will see an increase of around 20% in comparison to prices during the off-season. The seasonal tariff does not apply to islanders, for whom prices remain unchanged throughout the year.
