The jubilee passenger is flying in from Istanbul

We keep reporting on the number of tourist arrivals steadily growing in 2017, and so far, it’s been an amazing year. More good news on this front, this time from Dubrovnik!

This year, Dubrovnik Airport is expecting its millionth passenger 15 days earlier compared with 2016, reports DuList on July 10, 2017. The lucky traveller should land in Čilipi on Thursday, July 13 at 8:15, on the Turkish Airlines flight TK 0439 that’s coming from Istanbul.

In 2016, the one-millionth passenger Heather Noelle Rhine arrived to Dubrovnik Airport on July 28. Guess which flight she was on? Yes, the same one as this year’s jubilee visitor – the Turkish Airlines flight Istanbul-Dubrovnik. Interestingly enough, the occasion also happened ten days earlier compared to 2015; proving yet again we’re not to see the increase in tourists slow down anytime soon. Who knows, in 2018, Dubrovnik Airport might see its one millionth passenger as early as in June.
