2018 is set to be the busiest year ever for Croatia’s coastal airports. An overview on the latest flight announcements on October 24, 2017.
Volotea, who have already announced the start of operations in Pula, as well as new lines to Milan Bergamo from Split and Dubrovnik, as well as Split to Palermo, have now introduced a new line from Dubrovnik to Bari, once a week starting on June 26.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines continues to expand its operations to the Dalmatian capital of Split for the all-important Scandinavian market, with a new connection with Trondheim, which will run from May 21 to October 10, initially as a charter.
SAS is also beefing up the Scandinavian connections to Pula, with two new routes from Norway. A weekly flight will run from Stavanger from June 23 to August 4, and from Bergen from July 4 to August 1.
Not to be outdone, Croatia Airlines is introducing no less than four new charter routes from Scandinavia, from Kuopio (September 19 – October 3), Lulea (May 23 to June 27), Molde (June 27 to August 22) and Umea (August 22 to September 19). Flights will be weekly.
And, in the last of a very Scandinavian-centric updates, TUIfly Nordic will introduce a weekly flight to Pula from Copenhagen from May 5 to October 6, as well as strengthening existing routes from Gothenburg to Split and from Helsinki to Split.
