Travel broadens the mind, so they say, and one is exposed to new and fascinating experiences on the road, many of which are unfamiliar to the comfort of life back home.
And being curious is definitely a positive thing, it is how we learn. Tour guides are asked a lot of questions while doing their job.
The vast majority of them are very similar, but then there are a few which are a little – ok, more than a little – unusual.
A few years ago, Total Croatia News had a tour guide writer called Jelena from Dubrovnik, who lifted the lid on the joys of her tour guiding job, with a hilarious article about the 15 silliest questions she had been asked as a tour guide in Dubrovnik.
