Another successful tourist project for Aminess.
Tourism Minister Anton Kliman visited the Aminess tourist company from Novigrad, which recently went through the process of rebranding which meant that Laguna Novigrad become Aminess. The Minister visited the Mirami Family Village which was opened this year at the Park Mareda Camping Site. It is a unique concept of family village completely adapted to children. “This is a great market niche which is completely adapted to children, developing their skills during summer vacation when there is no school. Aminess is making smart investments and works together with the destination in which its tourist facilities are located”, said the Minister.
The Mirami Family Village opened in 2016 at the Aminess Park Mareda Camping Site. This concept of a family village with a special edutainment programme fully adapted to children is unique in Croatia. The Mirami Family Village consists of 50 mobile homes next to the sea and the plan is to install another 40 mobile homes in 2017.
“If the children were to imagine a perfect world, it would be a world of research and play. Here, specially trained educators from the Mirami Edutainment Factory reveal the right formula to them: education + entertainment = edutainment, which links education, learning and fun. So far, our workshops have been attended by 1,900 children and we have received a rating of 9.6 out of 10”, said CEO of Aminess Zrinka Bokulić.
Minister Kliman also commented on the results of the tourist season. “This tourist season has shown us the importance of cooperation between private and public sector, and how it was possible to achieve really excellent results in a short period. The results that have been achieved since the beginning of the year, and especially during these summer months, have surpassed previous records and this is something that everyone in the tourism sector should be proud of. The expectations for the post-season period are excellent, so in the near future we can expect to break last year’s mark of 80 million overnight stays and confirm that this year is the best in the history of Croatian tourism”, said the Minister.
From 1 January to 28 August this year, Croatia recorded 12.4 million tourist arrivals and 71 million overnight stays.
