Next week, the tourist offer of the Nin Riviera – which consists of Nin, Zaton, Privlaka, Vir, and Vrsi – will be enriched by the Pointers digital application.
The personalized digital application will act as a free user guide for the Nin Riviera, providing information to tourists about beaches, events, gastronomy, entertainment, nightlife, bicycle routes, free WiFi points, information for boaters, cultural and natural heritage, and more. The application will display the offering of the area through photographs, video materials, and VR360, and can be used across seven platforms (Android, iOS, WEB, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), reports HRTurizam on June 8, 2017.
“The application will contain text descriptions of all attractions and non-commercial content in the first year, and next year all commercial content will be added to show the total offer of the destination,” said Marija Dejanović, director of the Tourist Board of Nin.
The application will be available in Croatian, English, German and Italian languages, and texts will be accompanied by authentic photos and videos, including drone footage, GPS navigation, profiles of the tourist boards through “Google My Business,” and locations via Google Maps.

“Over the course of ten days, the Pointers application will upgrade nine more destinations, from Crikvenica and the Opatija Riviera to Korčula. Currently, over 50 destinations in Croatia are included in the Pointers application. We sincerely hope that one day our complete tourist offer, for example, all of our tourist destinations, will be presented through our story to give tourists the full package in the palm of their hand,” said Maja Kokolari of the Osijek IT company Apria, creator of the Pointers application.
An excellent example of how cooperation can further develop and enhance a destination – bravo!
