For this year’s Advent, Uber is offering their users an electric rickshaw ride.
The ways people move around the world change from day to day, and who else but Uber to bring the latest transport trends to the increasingly popular Advent in Zagreb?
For this year’s Advent, Uber has provided a new service to all users in Zagreb for their UberADVENT event.
For this occasion, electric rickshaws will take Uber users around Advent from 14:00 to midnight. Each rickshaw will be numbered, and users will be shown the numbers in the application itself.
“In every town where Uber operates, we strive to become an integral part of the city. For two consecutive years, Zagreb has won the Best Advent award as part of the European Best Destinations portal survey where 21 European cities competed last year. UberADVENT is our contribution to the tourist offer of Zagreb because we want this year’s Advent in Zagreb to be even more interesting to all citizens, as well as the many tourists visiting Croatia,” said Davor Tremac, Managing Director of Uber for South East Europe.
UberADVENT will be available to all users who order the service in the center of Zagreb. For example, the rickshaw can ride from the main square to the Upper Town or the British square, Main Station or Trg Kralja Tomislava.
The cost of the service is 2.5 HRK per minute and users will be able to order in a radius of one kilometer from Ban Jelačić Square. Each rickshaw can fit two passengers. Blankets will also be available to the passengers to make the ride more comfortable.
