October the 1st, 2024 – A brand new Uber Pet Croatia service has been available here in the capital city of Zagreb since last week, but there are plans for potential expansion.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, as of last week, a new service has been available in Zagreb that allows Uber users to ride with their pet. The new Uber Pet Croatia service involves a small additional fee of only 2.50 euros per regular ride ordered via the Uber application. The user can therefore take their pet wherever they need to with them.
“We are extremely proud to be able to present the Uber Pet service in Zagreb, thereby demonstrating our continued commitment to innovation and listening to the needs of our users. The introduction of this service not only facilitates planning and travel for pet owners, but also represents an important step in improving the quality of transport services across Croatia.
We believe that the new Uber Pet Croatia service will raise standards in the industry and provide an even better user experience, creating new opportunities for both passengers and our driver partners,” said Uber.
Uber vehicles intended for this service are equipped with special protective mats and a safety belt for pets. To make the ride even more comfortable for drivers and other passengers (four-legged and otherwise), it’s recommended that users bring their own mats to protect the car seats.
Uber PET was specially presented as part of the “Festival of Dogs of All Breeds powered by Zoo City” which took place last weekend in Zagreb. The Uber Pet Croatia service is currently available exclusively in Zagreb, with plans for possible expansion to other cities.
