May the 29th, 2025 – The giant Croatian tourism company Valamar has plenty to celebrate, especially knowing that its hotels are among the world’s top 10% on TripAdvisor.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, TripAdvisor has awarded the “Travellers’ Choice” award based on guest reviews and ratings over the past year. Among the awardees are an impressive 20 Valamar hotels, resorts and camping resorts that have made it into the 10% in the world for TripAdvisor.
Sunny Rabac by Valamar, located on the Sveti Andrija peninsula, has won the “Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best” award and is among the top 1% of all-inclusive hotels across Europe. Among the hotels within the group that have won the prestigious award are numerous hotels dotted along the Croatian coastline, including the Imperial Heritage Hotel 4* Valamar Collection located on the island of Rab and the Valamar Camping Marina 4* in Labin up in Istria.

The Croatian company Valamar otherwise operates a total of 36 hotels and resorts, as well 15 camping resorts along the Adriatic coast and in Obertauern, Austria. TripAdvisor has spotlighted and praised numerous Valamar properties located all along the Croatian coast, from Dubrovnik, up to Hvar, Poreč, Makarska and in other locations.
The company has ambitious plans for the future. Valamar’s strategic goals by the year 2026 include achieving double-digit annual business growth and operating profits of 150 million euros. They have also emphasised their plans for continuous investment in improving the quality of their accommodation and offered services.
It’s worth mentioning that Valamar is also the name behind one of the largest tourism investments in Croatia in recent times. They’re set to invest a staggering 200 million euros in the Pical zone and hotel in Poreč. The development of the entire public tourism infrastructure is planned in that location in Istria, including promenades, bike paths, swimming pools and plenty of other facilities.
