December the 21st, 2025 – Beautiful Zadar is the only bigger Dalmatian city to see a plus in November tourism numbers according to Croatia’s eVisitor system.
As Slobodna Dalmacija writes, according to Croatia’s widely commended eVisitor system, the Zadar Tourist Board recorded a plus in the number of overnight stays for November tourism compared to the same period last year. Turning the clock back to this time last year, the number of tourism arrivals for November in Zadar was actually in the red. According to these encouraging indicators, Zadar is actually the only bigger city in all of Dalmatia that recorded an increase in the number of November overnight stays in tourism.

According to eVisitor’s current data, there were 18,500 arrivals registered in Zadar during the month of November, which is slightly less than 7 percent lower than in November 2024. There were also 45,828 overnight stays recorded, which is 1.36 percent better than the figures recorded back during the same period last year.
From January the 1st to December the 14th this year, there were 677,620 arrivals recorded by the Zadar Tourist Board’s area, marking a slight increase of 1 percent. There were 2,468,585 overnight stays registered, which also represented a small increase of 1 percent compared to last year. The number of tourists registered in Zadar and the wider Zadar County area stood at 680,689, which is also an increase of 1 percent.

Looking at the data for the entire tourism picture in Zadar from January up until (but not including) November this year, almost all larger Dalmatian cities are saw very welcome increases in the number of overnight stays and arrivals registered compared to last year. All in all, the figures range from 1 to 8 percent, with only Zadar seeing the same trend carried through into November.
