May the 19th, 2024 – The Korean T’Way has begun Zagreb-Seoul flights, connecting Croatia with a distant market and boosting tourism.
As Croatia continues to make itself more accessible to distant markets, the new Zagreb-Seoul flights from T’Way will likely delight many in both Europe and Asia. Tourists from Asian countries flock to Croatia in droves throughout the year, making up considerable numbers in the pre and post-season.
According to research, the majority of tourists from not only Korea but other Asian nations in the vicinity like to explore what the country has to offer as far as culture and history is concerned, and aren’t so bothered about the beach and sea that most European tourists crave during the height of summer.
The introduction of these brand new Zagreb-Seoul flights is therefore fantastic not only for Korean tourists seeking an easier, more direct way of getting to the Croatian capital city, but also for those of us living in Zagreb and elsewhere across the nation wanting to explore the Korean peninsula.
The flights will run regularly, and will undoubtedly bring more Korean tourists to the capital and the country, and introduce more curious Croats and other Europeans to South Korea.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the new Zagreb-Seoul flights operated by the aforementioned Korean carrier will fly three times per week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The flights kicked off just a few days ago (May the 16th) and will continue to connect the two cities until October the 26th this year. The aircraft used will be an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, boasting 347 seats.
The estimated arrival time on the days it flies 19:55 in Zagreb, while departure time is 21:25.
Tickets can be booked on T’way Air’s website. It’s worth mentioning that the last regular flight between Zagreb and Seoul took place back at the end of November 2019.
After Zagreb, T’way Air also plans to establish lines to Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Frankfurt.
