Passengers flee after ZET bus catches fire in Žitnjak early Friday morning.

ZET Bus suddenly burst into flames today around 6 A.M. at Žitnjak, reports 24sata on September 15, 2017.

The entire bus burnt down. Fortunately, there are no injured. The investigation as to what had caused the accident is underway.

“The bus picked up the passengers first in Petruševec heading for Struge terminal, where it caught fire. All the passengers immediately rushed out. The driver tried to put out the fire with two bottles, but failed. The flames grew larger as the fire spread over the entire bus. In the end, only the skeleton of the bus remained, and the fire was finally extinguished by firefighters,” says the reader.

The reader who shot the video also complained about the ZET line.

“Among other things, the same line has not been running as it should for two weeks now, and nobody is responding to the complaints of late-coming passengers and school workers .The Petruševec bus should go every half hour, but one line has been cancelled, which is why the bus now runs every hour, in both directions. In that case, another bus going to Struge should also drive to Petruševec, and then when something like this happens, there is not one bus driving to the Žitnjak,” says the reader.
