The Wonders of Croatia: The Blue Cave of Bisevo

The Croatian coast is littered with spectacular islands nad azure water, but some of its treasures offer that little extra. 

The Blue Cave at Bisevo, close to the island of Vis is one such example, and it is one of the most popular day trips in Dalmatia, with speedboats tours from places like Split and Hvar especially popular. A crack in the roof of the cave allows sunlight into the cave, which produces the extraordinary colour, and it is a swimming experience like no other.
