Vela Gospa: The Pilgrimage to Sinj

Just days after being the centre of national attention with the 300th Alka tournament, the inland Dalmatian town of Sinj is once more making the headlines, as tens of thousands of people descended upon the town for the annual Vela Gospa (Feast of the Assumption) procession to the shrine of the Miraculous Madonna of Sinj.
