Updated on:

Opulent scent of rose petals with predicate tones, full, layered, harmonious and mighty taste of the 2016 Traminer by Ilok Cellars. This superior dry wine is savoury, but not sweet, and Wine Stars reviewers gave it four stars and Wine of the Week title. The wine stores of Ilok Cellars sell bottles for 70 kuna.

Three stars went to Pinot Nero De Gotho 2015 by the Kutjevo winery, going well with lighter game dishes, costing 85 kuna in Vrutak; then a lively and fresh, great with vegetable dishes, Gross Sauvignon 2016 by the Austrian Jakobi winery (87,50 kuna in Miva wine gallery) and a likeable, sincere and with a very acceptable price Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 by the Ilok family winery Buhač (40 kuna, Vrutak).
