One of the great events of the summer for inland Hvar, it is that time of year again when Svirce comes to life.
Bogdanusa Night is now in its fourth year, a great initiative to highlight the traditions of the village of wine on Hvar, as well as affording visitors to taste Hvar’s famous indigenous white wine variety, Bogdanusa, which translates as ‘a gift from God’ and is only grown on Hvar.
It is an excellent early drinking summer wine, and even if you cannot make it tomorrow night (it starts at 21:00), you should try a glass or three of Bogdanusa during your stay on Hvar to get a flavour of truly authentic Hvar. Check out the video below on a previous Bogdanusa Night.
