Returning to Hvar in mid-December after a couple of months in Munich has been delightful so far. The short sleeves are out for midday coffee, and the chilled pace of life in Jelsa is something that I have come to appreciate even more with a few weeks away.
Not that it is all quiet however. I understand that one of the popular attractions over the last few weekends has been the lively programme put on by the team at Artichoke Wine Bar, and it seems that they are building up to what promises to be a spectacular Christmas party put on by the teams from Artichoke and Mojito this Saturday.
It all starts at 21:00, and the theme of the party is red, red, red.
A welcome drink for all, finger food (burgers and pizzas), big prize contest and a fire show. Not forgetting the live music of course.
A great combination to get rid of those winter blues and get you in the mood for Christmas.
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve. Follow Artichoke on Facebook.
