August the 12th, 2023 – Yet more fantastic news and publicity for Croatia comes in the form of the recently announced Rimac-Europa-park cooperation, as Mate Rimac is set to team up with this well-known German complex.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, as part of this new partnership, what the Croatian part of the park will look like and what it will contain has also now been revealed. The Croatian Rimac Group (Grupa) will participate in its construction, as reported by HRT.
A new part of the park dedicated to Croatia and all things Croatian
“Europa-park, the largest amusement park in all of Europe which has been awarded eight times as the best amusement park in the entire world, is now building the largest new part of the park that will be dedicated to the Republic of Croatia. This new part will work to replicate Croatian architecture and show off Croatian culture, the incredible genius from Smiljan – Nikola Tesla, as well as numerous other Croatian inventors.
The spotlight will be cast on Rimac’s stunning Nevera
The biggest attraction in this new ”Croatian part” of the park will be dedicated to the Nevera supercar and the domestic company Rimac. Together, we’re going to create a roller coaster that will demonstrate the performance – acceleration and sheer power of the car that every single one of the six million visitors who come to this park every year will be able to experience,” Rimac told HRT of this new Rimac-Europa-park cooperation.
“We want to bring people closer what we do here in Croatia. We also want people to become better acquainted with Croatian history and Croatian inventors, of whom there are, thank God, quite a few, not only Nikola Tesla. In this way, a very wide circle of people who come to Europa-park can see, experience and be further encouraged to come and pay a visit to Croatia,” he added.
PM Andrej Plenkovic couldn’t hide his elation
Prime Minister Plenkovic, also commented on this cooperation.
“I think this collaboration is absolutely fantastic. The Europa-park in Rust, Germany, is one of the most prestigious parks of its kind, will also get a Croatian part. It’s nice that this particular collaboration is being done with the Rimac Group, both because of the innovations and because of the great combination of both digital and green. In this way, I think that the park itself will become further enriched with offers, and in a creative way that only Mate Rimac, as a manufacturer of the fastest electric vehicles, and at the same time the only car manufacturer in Croatia, can do,” said Plenkovic of the Rimac-Europa-park cooperation.
