October the 4th, 2023 – The leading people of Staropramen recently hopped over from the Czech capital of Prague to explore potential opportunities here on the Croatian market.
As Jutarnji/Novac/Zdravko Reic writes, individuals who perform some of the leading roles within the Staropramen brewery arrived in Croatia from Prague recently. Their visit concentrated solely on three working days in Dalmatia – more specifically Split, Dubrovnik and on the island of Hvar.
Can the Croatian market offer much to Staropramen going forward?
The Staropramen team were in Dalmatia as part of a process to familiarise themselves with the opportunities on the Croatian market, and it was of course an ideal opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. All of this was organised by businessman Teo Čendo from Split. He is the president of the Staropramen Management Board for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and earlier on in his career he was the regional manager of Zagrebačka pivovara (The Zagreb Brewery) for the region of Dalmatia for seventeen years.
It isn’t the first or last time for Staropramen’s top dogs in Croatia
“This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time that we organise working tours like these for some of the leading people within the company. I love that that they’re paying visits to some gorgeous locations across Dalmatia,” said Teo Čendo, who has been the leading man of the globally recognised (and enjoyed) Staropramen since January the 1st, 2021.
