October the 11th, 2023 – The Big 7 Travel portal has placed the beautiful central Dalmatian island of Hvar among the global top fifty.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the gorgeous island of Hvar has been ranked among the top fifty best islands in the entire world. This ranking was recently published by the World Tourism Platform Big 7 Travel. The list was compiled by experts based on reviews from their magazine readers and reviews on social media, Dalmacija danas/Dalmatia today reports.
Big 7 Travel – Hvar is One of the most famous and modern Croatian islands
It will come as a surprise to absolutely nobody who has ever visited this part of Dalmatia that the truly stunning island of Hvar found itself in an extremely impressive tenth place according to Big 7 Travel’s latest ranking.
“The island of Hvar is perhaps one of the most famous and modern Croatian islands. It isn’t difficult to understand why tourists flock to Hvar – beautiful streets, cocktail bars, promenades, anchored yachts… Outside the town itself there are ancient villages, vineyards and secluded beaches for those looking for something more modest”, Big 7 Travel, adding that it is definitely worth visiting Jelsa.
While Big 7 Travel is far from wrong in its opinion, and Hvar certainly is beautiful, there are plenty of much lesser known islands dotted along this remarkable country’s rugged coastline which are just as worth paying a visit to. With over 1000 of them, how can you make sure you go to the right one for you? Let us help you out.
If Hvar is your chosen paradise, don’t sit twiddling your thumbs until next summer, autumn is (in our opinion, at least) a much better time of year to go. The same can be said for all of Dalmatia.
