Zagreb, October 21, 2023 – Across Europe, the craze for the concerts of our cellist HAUSER is not abating, and the proof of this is the sold-out arenas in all the cities where he performs. “Rebel with a Cello” is the first independent tour of the famous musician, and so far HAUSER has conquered Prague, Budapest, Yerevan, Bar, Athens, Limassol, Bordeaux, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Dijon and Zurich. The same people come from every concert – the hall is full to capacity and the audience enthusiastically enjoys the fantastic performance of their favorite musician.
With a carefully selected repertoire, HAUSER took the audience on a magical musical journey, divided into several sets: from classical and film music to rock and Latin rhythms that brought the audience to their feet. At every concert, HAUSER adds extra spice to the atmosphere by descending into the audience, to the great joy of numerous fans. It was especially magical in Madrid, and in the audience was maestro Placido Domingo, who came to enjoy HAUSER’s musical bravura.
HAUSER continues his tour of the Old Continent, and next in line are Rome, Milan, Florence, Jesolo. On Wednesday, October 25, Buntovnik with Cello will come to Arena Zagreb, where the local audience will be able to enjoy a fantastic audio-visual show.
The “bad boy” among instrumentalists and one of the founders of 2Cellos, will take the stage with over 20 members of the orchestra who will accompany him on violins, drums, guitars, percussion and wind instruments with exciting pyrotechnic effects. The “Rebel with a Cello” concert will be a combination of classics, Latin rhythms and film music, packaged in three separate “acts” with a rich list of over 20 songs, which will soften and then get the audience in Arena Zagreb on their feet. Hot dance hits like “Livin’ la Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin, “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez or Shakira’s “Waka Waka” will make Arena Zagreb dance at the peak of the concert, and before that relax it with romantic Latin ballads.
From performances in the world’s most important arenas such as the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House or Madison Square Garden, collaborations with Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, George Michael, with the groups U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith, HAUSER has been through it all. Nevertheless, the concert on October 25 will be his first solo performance in Arena Zagreb, and as such a special experience for the audience and him as a musician.
And while the mischievous musical romantic in the new show includes everything his fans have come to know and love through his previous performances, such as the hugely popular songs “Beach Party” and “Alone Together”, HAUSER’s debut solo tour takes his live performance to a whole new level, in which combines a rhythmic retro sound with modern world dance hits, and all of this is packed into the album “The Player.”
HAUSER recently announced his new, third independent, and first Christmas album – “Christmas,” for which he made a remake of 14 well-known Christmas melodies from different parts of the world and accompanied by an orchestra, which will be available from Friday, October 27, 2023. The album’s lead single, Amazing Grace, is accompanied by spectacular visuals that show the dynamic cellist in his unique performance. The music video for this song was shot in Zagreb’s French Pavilion.
