December 19, 2023 – Luka Božić led his team KK Zadar to success with another historical performance to start the weekend with a 99:77 at FMP Soccerbet Belgrade on Friday, Cibona followed with a 91:87 upset at Igokea Aleksandrovac on Saturday and Split completed the “Croatian Weekend” with a 88:73 at home against Mega MIS Belgrade on Monday night.

Zadar bounced back from their Round 11 loss with an important win on the road against FMP Soccerbet. The highlight of the night was without a doubt Luka Božić who got another triple-double this season and became the first-ever player to record multiple triple-doubles in the ABA League. It was a close game in the first half, FMP Soccerbet held control of the advantage for much of the time even taking a 4-point lead into the halftime break. Zadar woke up in the second half, they took control of the game in the third quarter and never looked back from that point on.

Cibona’s new head coach Dino Repeša could not have wished for a better debut in AdmiralBet ABA League as his team defeated Igokea m:tel on the road and therefore ended the 5-game winning streak of the Laktaši troops.
The Wolves stayed calm even when everything seemed lost for them in the 4th quarter. They managed to come back from a 6-point deficit in the last couple of minutes of the game and to grab this extremely important away win.
Cibona have therefore improved their overall score to 5-7 and they have rejoined the race for the Playoffs.

SPLIT – Mega MIS 88:73 (24:20, 21:27, 17:10, 26:16)

Split put together a terrific second-half performance to beat Mega MIS at home to get their fourth win of the 2023/2024 AdmiralBet ABA League season.
It was a close first half, Mega MIS stuck around throughout the first 20 minutes they even took a 2-point lead to the halftime break after a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Petar Kovačević to end the half.
Both teams were sluggish in the third quarter, but Split overturned the result and took control of the lead heading into the final 10 minutes of the game. Split put together a fantastic fourth quarter to run away with the game and secure another homecourt win.
